Welcome to the Bath Cats and Dogs Home Website

Since the Home opened in 1937 we have saved tens of thousands of unwanted animals from cruelty, homelessness and destruction.

We are one of the largest animal re-homing centres in the UK caring for over 350 animals (dogs, cats and small animals) at any one time at a cost of over £3,000 a day. We pride ourselves on our strict non-destruction policy and aim to find every single animal a loving home, no matter how long this may take.

We receive no government, lottery or RSPCA funding and therefore our £1.2 million annual running costs are funded exclusively by voluntary donations and gifts in wills.
